A modern swine project in Bulgaria
Together with our dealer Agroconsult engineering, we are proud to highlight the large-scale modernization of Svikom and Multimes Farm, both part of Multimes Group.
Between 2023 and late 2025, a total of 47 buildings were fully renovated and equipped with advanced climate automation, supporting more than 3,000 sows, rearing units and finishing houses across both production sites.
Every department is equipped with Hotraco Thomas climate controllers, energy-efficient Multifan ventilation with frequency inverter control, multi-zone heating, hot-water floor heating for newborn piglets and high-pressure or adiabatic cooling with cooling pads. The entire system can be managed centrally and monitored remotely in real time via smartphone.
The first results demonstrate the impact of a stable, precisely controlled environment. Multimes Farm achieved an impressive average of 18.1 total piglets born per litter, while both sites are delivering strong farrowing rates, excellent piglet performance and exceptionally low sow mortality.
